Recent News/Notices/Items of Interest
- Earlier in the year an email was send out informing residents that Fulton County seniors over the age of 65 are entitled to a reduction in the school tax portion of their property taxes beginning in 2026. It stated that you must file for this additional Homestead Exemption by April 1. Since that email went out, the County decided to make it easier for seniors to access this new exemption. If you have already filed for a senior exemption, you will automatically receive this new exemption. If are NOT already receiving one of the other senior exemptions, you will need to file for it.
